Currently our focus is introducing the Lethality Assessment and Referral Protocol developed by the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence and adopted by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office last year. This assessment and protocol are designed to to be a simple way for an officer to determine if homicide is a likely outcome of a domestic violence situation. Trainings are free and take about and hour to complete. Follow up trainings are available.
